The PADI Open Water certification course guides you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive. The course is split into two parts, theory and practical.
The theory can be completed in a number of ways, the now more popular method is through PADI e-learning. This allows students to login to their account online and complete all the theory in their own time before they start the course. No need to spend time in a classroom when on vacation! Classroom sessions can be arranged over two mornings for those who wish to complete the theory through the traditional way.
Number of Dives: 4 Open Water Dives + confined pool session
Knowledge Development: 6 session’s e-learning
Prerequisites: 10 years of age, Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water. |

You begin the practical in a pool or pool-like conditions and then progress to the open water. We teach the water work over one and a half days. The first day you will start with a pool session in the morning where you will learn all the basic skills that will help you become a good diver. In the afternoon we complete two shore dives on the Wreck of the Cali, here you will experience a shipwreck and coral reef where there are an abundance of diversified marine life and tropical fish. The second day we will complete your certification with Open Water dives 3 & 4 from the boat on some of the best reefs in the Caribbean.
