Open Water Certification Course
The PADI Open Water Certification Course guides you safely through the basics of learning how to scuba dive.  The course is split in to three parts theory, practical pool sessions and four open water dives.

The theory is achieved through the PADI e-learning program which allows students to login to their account online and complete all the theory in their own time, now there is no need to spend valuable time in a classroom whilst on vacation!

Once on the island you will begin to learn the practical skills in the swimming pool and then progress to the open water portion of the course.  The first 2 dives are taught on the Wreck of the Cali – a 220 foot four mast schooner that sank over 60 years ago and is now home to an abundance of marine life, including corals, sponges, colorful tropical reef fish and a resident population of huge silver Tarpon.

The following day you'll be whisked away on one of our four custom dive boats to complete the final two “check out” dives before being certified as an open water diver.  After certification you will be qualified and well prepared to experience even more of the Cayman’s wonderful and diverse underwater world.

Prior to enrolling in any training courses please review the PADI Medical Questionnaire by clicking here Medical Questionnaire. If you answer “YES” to any of the conditions this does not necessarily disqualify you from diving. This just means there is a pre-existing condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of a physician.

Once you have confirmed your reservation with us you are welcome to print off our Liability Waiver and Contact Info sheet. You will be required to present your certification details with you at check-in along with this waiver.
