Explore Beyond The Shore!
A Discover Scuba Dive or Resort Course only takes a couple of hours to complete and is a fun introduction to the wonderful world of scuba diving. You won’t need any previous experience, but you must be healthy and 10 years or older to participate.
The course begins with a short informative talk with one of our dive instructors, who will explain how the dive equipment works and give a safety briefing. During the next part of the course you will be taught the basic skills of diving whilst in the confines of the swimming pool. It will then be time for you to experience an open water scuba dive in the company of your instructor who will be responsible for your safety and enjoyment.
Please be aware that this is not a scuba certification course, nor does it qualify you to dive without professional supervision.
Refresher Dive / Scuba Tune Up
The refresher course is for certified divers who may have not been diving for a while and need a brush up on their basic skills. Typically you will be required to make a refresher course if you have had a break in diving of over three years. Our instructor will review equipment configuration and diving skills including buoyancy, fin kicking, mask clearing, and other techniques to ensure your safety and enjoyment. In most instances we will complete the course on the Wreck of the Cali dive site.
Prior to enrolling in any training courses please review the PADI Medical Questionnaire by clicking here Medical Questionnaire. If you answer “YES” to any of the conditions this does not necessarily disqualify you from diving. This just means there is a pre-existing condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of a physician.
Once you have confirmed your reservation with us you are welcome to print off our Liability Waiver and Contact Info sheet. You will be required to present your certification details with you at check-in along with this waiver.
